TriCity Fitness, Inc. is proud to support the United States Military-Connected Community with our Tennis for the Troops program and offer a complimentary Military Membership to our facility for all veterans, active duty and national guard.

“Learn the game of tennis and find a community of support for military families, veterans, active duty – anyone who might want to play with other people who speak “your language” - that’s a Win-Win!”

Billy Ciejka, General Manager at TriCity Fitness and Program Director of Tennis for the Troops

Tri City Fitness offers a great atmosphere. Everyone is so personable, the staff here, the people that give lessons – they’re amazing. The Tennis 4 the Troops program is such a great benefit for our troops. It provides both a mental challenge and a physical challenge just by coming here and getting involved. You’re going to meet great people, get a great workout and have a good time!"

Dean Motta, 22-year United States Army National Guard Veteran

  • Tennis for the Troops Weekly Clinic

Tennis for the Troops is a weekly clinic series on Tuesdays from 10-11 am to build tennis skills while getting veterans and active duty members together involved in a sport that will last a lifetime. Players of all levels are welcome, whether you play occasionally or have a lifelong love of the game.

Tri-City wishes to thank all of the great members who have helped make the Tennis for the Troops program so successful: Jenn Tabankin, Dean Motta, Colonel Kevin Ferreira, Joanne Ross, Colonel Al Ross (retired), Tim Caslin, and Spencer Smith. Thank you to the following program sponsors for their dedicated support to the Tennis for the Troops program: Hoffman's Car Wash, American Trade and Goods, Homestead Funding, Market 32, Rosetti Properties and HEAD PENN Racquet Sports.

  • Military Veterans Find Refuge "Serving" On Tri-City Tennis Courts

Tennis has boomed during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the Physical Activity Council, more than 21 million Americans picked up a racquet over the past year, up more than a fifth. As WAMC’s Jackie Orchard found out, some of those newcomers are military veterans, finding solace during a dark New York winter.
