The Tri-City Junior Tennis Academy is designed for youth ages 4 to 17 - for all levels. Emphasis is placed on hand/eye coordination, and motor skills development for students 5-7 years of age. Through the use of a detailed weekly lesson plan, concentration on players' stroke mechanics, focusing on strategy, and match play situations for the older players are achieved. It is our goal to provide each student with the basics to understand the fundamentals of the game so it can be enjoyed at the social or competitive level.
The Academy runs year-long as an after-school/weekend program during the school year and as a day-time camp during the summer. School year programs run for 10-15 week sessions. Classes are offered Monday through Friday 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Summer camp programs run on a weekly basis.
